Ok i just bolted my motor in today, and i plan on starting it tomorrow, but i saw that post about the unfortunate individual whos timing belt tensioner bolt snapped which in turn fubar'd the valves. I just replace my tensioner and replaced the timing belt with a greddy one.

I Followed the Factory service exactly as it said, but it said nothing about how tight to set the tensioner, so i just set it to a reasonably tight setting. now that i read that this bolt breaking thing seems to be really common,

what do i need to do to insure this doesnt happen to me?

How tight do i set the tensioner angle?

If you followed the instructions exactly, to where you leave the tension loose and turn the crank 2-3 times, then tighten then tensioner you should be at the proper specs.

Now this may sound dumb but I always use the book picture as a reference for where the allen head hole should be on the tensioner its generally spot on... I've changed my belt like 5-6 times never had a problem yet...
