timing belt job
can someone please give me guide lines on how to do the timing belt on the 94 1/2 maxima?

I wasn't aware there was such thing as a 94 1/2.
I assume you mean a 94 GXE (VG30E engine), as you're asking about a timing belt. If it's a 94 SE (VE30DE) or a 95 (VQ30DE) it's got chains.
I've got the chilton guide for all of the above, so let me know which it is and I'll post up the step-by-step from the book (or, better yet, scan it--not likely as the scanner doesn't like me lately...).

it is the VG30E. the guys car just had the injecters done on it and he bought them off the internet and found out that he needed the injectors from a 95, because halfway through the year they ran out of injectors and those were called the '94 1/2.
