NEED HELP!!! Timing Belt Replaced and Aligned, WON'T START

so I had just finished replacing the timing belt, got it all aligned with the camshaft marks and crank gear, set at TDC.

after putting everything back together, I went to start the car and it made a CLACK sound and didn't even turn over :confused:

any info as to what's going on?

Make sure the marks on the timing belt match the marks on the camshaft. Make sure the crank is lining up with the mark on the side of the oil pump. And 3rd, the most important, make sure that the cylinder number 1, the one on the front of the passenger side, is at top dead center. You can check this by pulling the number 1 cylinder's spark plug and looking through the spark plug hole with a flashlight. You should be able to see the top of the piston on the highest position (the top of the piston would be the closest position to the spark plug hole).

After that, the next thing you can do is to count the teeth between the marks on the gears. Here's the FSM page
