Hey all,

Just spent the last couple days replacing timing belt/water pump/crank-cam seals/ etc/thermostat etc.
First thing I did wrong was put one of the camshafts 1 tooth off on the belt, ran horrible, took it apart, reset it, bam started nice!.
So I set my timing, problem is, I have the distrubutor cranked all the way counterclockwise and it still wont time past 20BTDC. The truck runs ok, it seems louder than before, the kind of loudness that is similar to not having an airbox. It pings slightly under load, and doesn't seem the have the power it did before. I searched, and found "check your timing". I can have it running, and move the dist around a bit, and it just runs rougher (retarded it even more).
I forgot to add, I also replaced plugs/wires/cap/rotor. Does anyone have ideas on what could cause the loudness/lack of power? Thanks

Figured it out, was a couple teeth off on both cams. Clocked the crank a few teeth, runs like a top!
