timing belt change question

is there and easy way to stop the crank from moving while i am trying to remove it. the fsm says remove the starter and use a ring gear stopper. but i don't have one and i dont feel like pulling my starter off. its a PITA!

put the car in 5th and jack the crap out of the ebrake.now is a good time to buy and install a ross ballancer!

it's a performance balancer/crank pulley
