ALright guys im new here and looking for a third opinion. I replaced my timing belt last night, but when i turned over i couldnt get a good start. now there are signs of life but im guesing timming is just wayyy off. I tried to find TDC by just turing the motor but that was a failure. Now im going to dismantle it all tommorow and check the belt make sure the marks on on the right areas. but before i give it another go i was going listen to some other M30's enthusiasts with what your past experiences are for making sure its all on spot and how you found top dead center since, well atleast on mine...there is no timing marks on the crank pulley. Thanks guys!!

its a pita, but keep spinning it over until the cams line up. the nissan motors ARE interference motors so if it is off to much youll end up bending some valves.

danM30, I would also post your query in the 240sx forum. M30 owners are few and far between in this forum.

Don't force anything and replace the crank pulley with one that has timing belt alignment marks on it.
