I've never broken a stock belt. Every one I've seen cut loose was old, the tensioner went slack or the idler seized. I would trust a stock belt, but for a little bit more a kevlar belt is a nice little something extra.

I prefer Power Enterprise Kevlar timing belt, and also buy a new idler and tensioner as well and follow the FSM repair procedure so you don't over tighten the belt.

Current tensioner and idler have less than 10k miles. Should be good still right
