Timing and ECU Problems.

I just had my timing chain done, and now I have a concern. When the car idles its like it’s out of timing, and dies after 5 or 10 seconds. When you drive it, it back fires a lot. Could it be that my ECU needs to be reset, and if it does how do you reset an ECU? I could not find how to reset a ka24de on the forums.

Have you checked your ignition timing with a timing light?

To reset your ecu just disconnect it from the battery for a short time and reconnect it.
