Well, there's nothing like sitting at a red light and getting a hefty dose of gasoline fumes. Temps have been dipping into the low 30s here in south-central PA - even had frost one morning. This being a virgin cold spell for the car since I've had it, I wasn't expecting a fuel leak. Fortunately, it was uneventful and I was actually able to fairly easily find the leak at the FPR - it's amazing what tightened clamps will do.

I've seen the double-layer spring clamps - adding that swap-out to the to-do list. Just figured I'd throw this up here to make a note of it as temps are dropping.

Yep, my FAVORITE issue with the Z32.
I added to your title just to help remind everyone to also do the fuel hose clamp routine, and as you mentioned Ace recently turned me on to the GT-R style clamps which apparently do away with this issue forever...and is a well-priced modification as well.

If you replace your hoses, remember fuel INJECTION hose, not just fuel hose!!!

^Yep - read those horror stories, too. Thanks for flagging it. I see that Z1 has a kit that you can get with either the OEM clamps or the GT-R ones. Probably something I'll do as I dig deeper into the car.
