At any rate my 1ghz Tbird won't stand up to thoughs crazy graphics. Time to get a 64 bit AMD and X800 radeon

MoH is a decent game for an older engine. I am honestly more excited about Half Life 2 then D3. I am looking at staying at 32 bit for now, as I really don't think that this game will be super processor heavy (not a lot of sprites) But it will kick the crap out of ones RAM and graphics card. I am thinking 4 256MB Corsair XMS PC5300 stick, a Abit IC7 MAX3, and a Ati 9800 Pro 256 (although the G400 GPU isn't that far off) at custom clock.

Your Ti chunki won't run D3 for crap (sorry to say). Time to get rid of that nVidia crap and step up to a mans GPU:)

I have owned several nVidia cards and all aren't worth the silicone they are built on. ATi is the only way to go.

I really think that anything under 1GB RAM will have a hard time keeping up with the bump map textures of D3. That P4 will do well though. I have a P4 2.4HT that I plan on taking to about ~3.2gHz on air alone.

If it won't even play, then i'll think about it, but I won't play it enough to necessitate a whole new comp. if it can play at at least a decent framerate, I'll probably just keep the setup I have. I don't even stay up on the overclocking scene anymore, so I don't even know whats out anymore.

upgrade every 5-6 years. You will be good to go. Though you will have to upgrade your video card twice in thoughs 2 years
