Well, the Q is now 19 years old with over 286,000 miles on it and still rolling strong...... engine wise, but as far as interior cosmetics and some other things "The Big Sexy" is in some need of some love. Some of you may know me from years ago, but many probably don't know me, so I'll just say I've brought my 92 Q a very long way and have replaced and customized many, many parts.

I can't count nor do I want to list all I've done, but here are just SOME of the things.. Converted from active suspension, California custom springs ( man do I love the stance of my car!), Transmission imported from Japan, Special Drive shaft, Modded out nico ECU and JWT tcu, Tokico blues, subframe spacers and collars, stillen adj tension rods just for starters. I can't even remember all the suspension stuff I've swapped out. The car has Pristine White leather seats and the car has even been repainted as well as other interior adjustments. The usual fuel pump replacement, transmission cooler addition, slotted rotors, ceramic brake, steel flex brake lines, racing blue brake fluid..etc.. etc... etc.. Installed the 94 steering rack and I even acquired, refinished and repainted the original wheels from the Q Dr. himself (yes that REX) and so much more...( many pics should still be here on this site) Radiator and many engine components have been replaced or rebuilt as well. I know I have forgotten half of all I've done and can't tell you the testing and research spent of this car. Twin turbo research and a deposit on an engine to super charge I will never get back.. That's all I'll say about that.

And I have modified differentials to swap out should I want...as well as countless spare parts and items I've horded over the last 5 years. on and on and on and on and on.. : D

Now I have to replace my dash, Blower motor, AC system(yes, every component thereof.. YUCK!), sunroof switch, take out and rebuild if necessary the Active Power steering pump due to it being converted and having the rear end of the pump feeding itself mobile one transmission fluid instead of the active suspension mineral oil for 4 1/2 years now. I'm starting to hear the pump and it's not the top end I just thank the lord I kept a good amount of transmission fluid in the bottom end looped back to itself for the past 4 1/2 years so it wouldn't burn out. Sucks that the Active pump and pulley are bigger then the normal power steering pump.

I have to find out why the antenna stopped working, it's not the motor for it as the antenna and motor are both new. My cd player just "stopped" working, so that needs replaced... Shall I continue? Hehehehe... Needless to say I have some work to do and as I told you all years ago... I will NOT be ever getting rid of this car.

So... anyway.. that's just some of what I'll be doing.. Power to the Q!

pS.. wes and greg.. I heard from Rob in Miami.. His vettes are looking nice.

Would it be easier to swap out the p/s pump and the crank pully out with ones from a standard Q?

I'm not quite sure if that would even be needed yet. I have to evaluate that when I get to the pump during the next few weeks. There is a reason I didn't go that route when I converted from the active suspension, but for the life of me I can't remember.
