I don't think mine are shot yet, but honestly I've had the car for 12 years now, its probably about time. That and to put the springs on that have been in my garage for 11 years... :D

Can anyone confirm if these are the correct part numbers for Tokico Blues for my 1992 Q.

HU2890A Front
HU2892 Rear

TIA

Heath

I'm not sure if they're available anymore. At one point, people were reporting that they had gone non-stock, and they spent a lot of time chasing "phantom inventory" ordering them from various vendors, only to get an email a day or two later saying they weren't in stock. Checking Hitachi's Tokico catalog, it skips right over the Q45, so I suspect you'd be buying new old stock if you can find it. In the numerical listing it skips from U2867 to U2896.

The last time I bought some (in 2002) the part number for the rears was 2892 and I paid a whopping $55.00 each for them. I never bought them for the fronts.

The only choice on Rock Auto is Monroe, and the fronts are out of stock...

Wow, so basically it sounds like there might not be anymore performance shocks available for us then. Sad sad day... I understand why since there are so few of us taking care of these ride anymore, but it still sucks beans....

Thanks for the info Heath....

I know that I've seen tokicos for sale occasionally, if you find them you'll want to make sure you make a call and ensure they have them in stock.

I'm not sure if anyone has run the Monroe's here..? Be curious how the fitment and ride is?

Personally I'd keep an eye out for a set and buy them if you find them, but fortunately if they're not super worn you have time to react.

I own BELLEZA MOTORS, i'm mainly in fb groups now lol but still poke around here since I lost my precious 94 Ivory Quartz Q (got a 94 black emerald Q45t now)

anyways I make coilovers for the G50 in different setups, from direct OE replacement to full performance coilovers with nitrogen bottle, one of my upcoming projects is to make a air ride suspension kit.
