Ok everyone, as of today I am relinquishing the status of highest poster to Greg aka Azhitman.

I have watched my lead on him evaporate in the last couple of months until finally today, came the day I have anticipated for some time.

I am no longer the highest poster.:(

That title has been held before in this order:

Torry aka ezcheese15 (on the UBB site)Adam aka Dauntless ( first couple of months of vbulletins)Fred aka palmerwmd (for most of last year on vbulletins and the last year of UBB NICO))

and now Greg (starting today)

Even though our postcount is still <extremely> close, I know I will be very tied up with things (capstone exercises coming up for my unit plus multiple graduate courses (mostly on INET)), so I do not anticipate ever catching back up.

I <did> have a nefarious scheme, on how to greatly extend my lead, but reactions were negative, so I dropped it.

Congratulations to Greg and may I nip at your heels for some time to come.

Fred...:D

Thanks Fred.

Just remember, you'll always be Michael Jackson, and I'll always be Tito.

My commitments to 3 kids, a wife (and girlfriends;)), grad school, out of town trips for work, home improvements, football coaching and block watch coordinating will <probably> keep me from making much of a run.

I'm just glad to have the opportunity to help my NICO brothers and sisters and make this site the #1 resource for all N/I owners.

I'm proud to be your sidekick, my friend. :D

I hope that wasn't the first analogy that came to mind. Geez, we could make a contest along those lines. Oh, and watch your back. I'm only...lessee...less than 4000 posts behind.

How about:

You're Willis, I'm Arnold.

-or-

you're Ren, I'm Stimpy.

Well, I'm relieved to read the sceptre that was passed to Hitman was a metaphor and didn't have veins on it. Congrats. That's a lot of well done moderatin'...

Congratulations, AZ. Fred, Sorry for your loss.

P.S. How about your Pinky and I'm the Brain. "Gee Brain, what are we going to do tonight?" "Try and take over the world!"

Fred - nice gesture to not let somehting like that just pass.

And I'd suggest Spongebob and Patrick, of course I've never seen either of you to be able to make any comparisons.

Another example of the Great Leadership on this board.

(goes to clean off nose)
