ok so just got back from iraq and i got pleantly of money to spend and what better to spend it on them my car right? here is what i am planning:BC cams valves springs retainers and I guess HKS or CS rocker arm stoppers cause BC doesnt make them as well as I am thinking TOMIE solid pivots and new guides and adj cam gears from probably HKS or Greddy. Now here is my question I am thinking about doing .5mm over valves this is going to be a tack day car not really seeing any streets except to and from local tracks has any one here done the oversize valve? what do you think about them? i figure between the listed parts and a extrude hone the head should be ready to hold more power then i intend to throw at it (intention being roughly 400whp) and the cams at 264 both intake and exhaust possibly should be set up just right for what i am looking at, if not then in the future i may change it to a stepped 264 272 if I have to but i feel like that would not be nessesary. If any one with experience with the mentioned parts could throw in I would appriciate it or if you would like to suggest alternative manufacturers that would be great to I havent been able to look at any parts for a while lol. but if you do suggest other manufactures please say why you are suggesting them.

Something that I experienced is when I did bigger valves it totally messed with my shim adjustment with my solid lifters.I'd say its not a bad idea if you can get away w/o a valve grind. I went with tomei cans cuz they put all there technology in making the power range across all rpms witch I can vouch for. Also if you have the cash check out twinscroll exhaust Mani and Turbo from full race.the new technology in turbos is impressive!

oversized valves are not necessary i am currently looking at a VE head but im doing my research now honestly aem ems intake manifold 30 r turbo 720 injectors 272 cams and the rest of the little goodies like clutch driveshaft lsd rear end should set you on a very comfortable 350-400 whp car

this is true however i want that without doing a top mount and as such i previously said that i am looking to use a gt2871R not a t3 or t4 i also dont want 272 cams because they are a little to top end oriented and I want power through the whole range not just at the top end of it
