Hello All,

I've been a registered member since Oct 03, but I mainly read/lurk to learn and get inspired and educated. I live in the Seattle area and work for a software company, older than most here, but feel and pass for much younger.

I have been a fan of the 240 since they came out, but did not pick one up until 03, a blk 96 Zenki . I still have it and it is my daily driver. I've had a growing attraction to the 240 vert for a while now, and have just picked up a few of them...yes I did say FEW over the last couple of weeks.

So onto the pictures.

I call them the Twins(couldn't take one, had to take both or no sale), both 93's, here they are on saturday when they arrived.

Another shot of them

From the rear of the Bad Twin, note the dent in low center of trunk, that is the only dent on the car..no transmission, so it is gonna be sitting for a bit.

Another of the Bad Twin, with my 96 sitting behind it.

Here is the Good Twin, rockin the chrome

Here is a shot of Good Twins nose

Here is the surprise, at least for me it was, a beautiful blk leather interior. My 96 Zenki has that as well.

Another shot from passenger side

Drivers door panel..great shape

Passengers is great too

Oh, I'm not done

This is the Black Sheep, also a 93, had it shipped up to me from California

From the other side

Here I am visiting it. I keep it at work for now...free secured parking, good for poppin out for lunch when it is nice..it gets lonely though...remember I live in the Seattle area

So that is the family..other than my wifes 06 Mazda6 wagon. As it sits now, I have 4 240's, 3 of them verts...I think I have the makings of a 240 vert dealership almost. I will be ultimately keeping only one, planned it to be the black one, but really starting to find the Good Twin winning my heart.

I have plans and parts in the garage already, but we will see where it goes. My wife wants me to do a Kouki front like 110octane has done, but perhaps now in white(she has also wanted me to swap my 96 Zenki front to Kouki as well or at the least get the euro glass lights for a long time..she gives me crap about it).

So, there you go for now, just wanted to share my junk. hope it wasn't too long of a read.

Wow!!! 3 'verts! You are the MAN!

You can have your very own meets.. whenever you feel like getting the camera out.

All 3 look like they are in great shape.

So what are your plans for them? Kouki front on one, keep one stock, silvia front on another??? SR20 in one, KA-T in another, stock in the last? 5 spd in one, auto in another, no trans in the last.. lol.

Thanks for sharing man!

Damn, man, there's barely even three verts in the tri-state area around me! Very nice cars, love the leather padded door panel. Just wish I could do the same for mine

Hey All,

Thanks for the comps. I will be keeping only one most likely, though now I would love to keep one of the white and also the black one. That will be hard to justify to the wife (I could just keep one at work and hope she forgets about it I guess ). The Bad Twin looks like it was an impound that got sold off, so no title for it. The thing is full of just crap..papers, cassettes..sunglasses..ect, oh and the previous owners license..50 something year old lady..kinda thick. But I am hoping that it helps me get a title for it, car was licensed in Texas in 06..so keeping hope alive there. It most likely will be a parts car..but I feel bad taking off of it even though I need too to improve the others.

Also, I really have been wanting to get a spare ka24de to build, and now I have one, with transmission already off so even easier to pull(I see flywheel...perfect!).

The Good Twin has a dented fender at the door jam and as a result jacked the drivers door up on the front edge, just a little, so my plan is to swap panels from the bad twin(Hey, no repaint required right away ). Then other than a rear window replacement for it, the Good Twin will be excellent and ready for modding.

The Black one was the first one I got of the three and the reason I bought the others was that the Black one was shipped to me from Cali and it was from an old guy, who failed to tell me the rear quarter window rubber seals were a bit torn up. I called him and said I was kinda pissed about that but there was nothing I could really do about it..the car was already in my hands. And it needs a new top.

So that is why I bought the other two, after trying to find some replacement rears quarters for Blackie, with no luck, I saw this deal for one with a parts car included and said wtf, and grabbed em. I got lucky and the guy had just posted the ad that day, he was into racing, so we hit it off. He bought them for his daughter, but she wanted a truck, so he wanted to get rid of them, he let me toss him a deposit and held them for me until I could arrange to get them. He told me he had just a ton of calls on them. He was surprised(I wasn't ) , but he stuck to his word..which has worked out perfect, other than now I own 3 freakin verts. Who knows, you may see me post one up for sale here in the near future...but which one...black..or white...hmmmm .

Oh and I got boot covers (3, from pretty good to near perfect condition)with all of them .

I like the idea of white with a s14 Kouki front(but of course could never be as nice as 110octanes but I could try a "discount" version ).

Black one I'm thinking maybe factory areo(already have a set of sides) and Xenon lip..yeah that'd be nice too.

Either way, 5sp swap, suspension, wheels, brakes, power and cosmetics are in planning mode now and parts already gathering now that factory(very hard to replace/find) hardware is taken care of.

Hope to share some of the results in the near future.

DAMN, I wrote alot, just felt like sharing..so if you have reached this far..Thank you .

Get in on the Xenon group buy while you can... $220 shipped is cheap!
