Man, you've got serious overkill for that little turbo. But to much is always better then not enough. I have the SAFCII with MSD BTM for timing, works just fine for me. People say the SAFCII sucks, I say they don't know what they're doing.

Does the Emanage unit control timing? If so, thats what I'd go with. Actually, to be honest, I'd go with the Emanage Ultimate...better for the money, trust me.

So the btm works pretty good eh.... a guy told me at a shop that it was garbage lol, then I said how come so many people use it. Then he said alcohol/methonal injection is the way to go. Let me ask you this i want to run like 9 lbs on my setup i have:safc2480cc injectors255 walboroz32fprnot sure of the size of the turbo but a little bigger than a 60-1tial wastegate

what would i need to tune this without a dyno, would it be safe to do with just a wideband or do i need that and a knock meter.

can i just back up base timing or would the btm be the safer way. Lol i have had this setup for a while but never get a chance to do anything with it becuase the engine that was originally in the car was ruined by a weld booger in the piping.

Then i got a engine for free and my friend said oh its perfect no problem, well it had a blown headgasket. Fixed it, but it always ran hot and i didn't notice the jackets were so messed up on the head and i just wasted money on it. So now i have a 75,000 mile motor that i payed only 250$ for.... (thank god for the KA)

So what do you think WD! lol

thanks wd for you response.. this is just the intitial set up i plan n going to a top mount set up later thus the overkill. I think im going with a wideband which i all ready have (ngk afx) and an safc2 for now. So we will see how that goes.

turbo kouki ftw!!

Thats almost the same setup I have, except I use the BTM. You can tell your genious buddy, with timing retard handled by the BTM you can drive it at whatever boost everyday...You can do it with methonal as well, but you better keep a spare gallon in the trunk all the time, cause you'll run out...ALOT. I've been building alcohol injection kits since 98...I'm very familiar with the benefit.

BTM FTW
