Okay I keep hearing about people planning to do things ( i know, I'm one of them) but I never get to see the end result. No one posts their dyno graphs or timeslips, or else I'm just not seein em (...or they just dont drag/dyno their cars =P ).

Lets see some ##'s of some NA KA's!

(You dont have to scan anything if you dont want, i believe yah.)

when i took my car to the track i believe it was a 16.3 at 89 mph or something.

91 coupe, automatic w/custom 2.75" catback...finally came across some money. In case anyone's interested I've got a set of SOHC pistons and an aluminum radiator in the mail, and I "plan" on getting an intake (maybe just a drop-in), header, pulley, port/polish, head rebuild (if the money lasts long enough), relocating the battery, coilovers (ordering KTS tomorrow), oh and most important of all **5speed swap**. Also want to try the new azeni's rt-615's since I need some new front tires.

post your mods too!

This might be a retarded topic but I'm really bored!

Dyno'd ~160rwhp with my old N/A setup on my S14, and ran consistent low-15s at ~91-91.5mph.

Custom right-hand short intake, HS header, test pie, GReddy MX exhaust, JWT ECU, S13 cams, ASP pulley, base timing advanced a little, etc...

A buddy of mine dyno'd his S14 at 159rwhp and did a 15.1 @ 92.5...

I have a number of dyno charts posted on my website, if you want to see what mods work well:

http://www.KA24DEvelopment.com - Look under "Tech" and then "Dyno Charts".

Hope that helps.

i just went to the 1/8th mile around here, did a fastest of 10.727 @ 65mph with a 60' of 2.44 with air intake that goes to the stock intake box with a cheap k&n look alike(ebay intake), crappy almost done tires and doughnut wheels, no LSD, no spare or jack, the rest is stock on a 93 240sx with ~187k miles(i don't know how many does this junkyard engine has)

My last run was 14.7 @92mph in the quarter... with 2.1 60' (open diff) . I recently installed a NISMO 2way LSD... so i think i can get my quarter down to 14.4-14.5 with a better 60'.

Major mods are:

Lightened pulley, flywheel, and driveshaft. /w ACT clutch.Custom intake and 3" exhaust. (stock header, no cat)AC removed, elec fan conversion.

ill leave the little stuff out, i dont think it matters much.

with out the lightened stuff the car dynoed at 148hp 142tq , i havent taken it back but i believe i should be in the high 160s. *puts on list of things to do

Come back with timeslips...

Unless your car weighs LESS than ~2300lbs (unlikely) and you're a little tiny guy (115lbs or so)...then it'll take more than 150rwhp to get 14.7s, especially with a less-than-impressive 2.1 60'

I'm not trying to be rude, but I've seen PLENTY of guys claim 14 second times with an N/A KA...but I've never seen a slip.

Actually i only weigh 140, so it must help

With a quarter tank of gas and me in the car it weighs 2800 lbs. The car should have around 160 rwhp at least. That dyno # is fairly old (from last summer) much has improved since then. I recently installed a nismo 2way, im sure ill take off at least another tenth with a sub 2 sec 60'. I understand where your coming from but I posted a timeslip awhile ago when i got into 14.8 (my first run with the newer parts). Its in the NA KA section somewhere... but i dont BS... heres my best 2 out of 3.

Good enough...I've found that most guys who claim good times are full of it.

Congrats.

My friend ran a 14.5 at the track with exhaust intake and a 75 shot of NOS.Everything else was stock. My other friend "who can't drive" just came from the track and ran a 16.2. I blow him away and I'm still stock all in the driver
