The 4mm and 8mm difference is minimal.
The eBay Rim-seller gives you a tracking number so you can see it travelling across the Country.
You'll need Center Caps and TPMS's too.
It's all in my Threads.
What Tires are you going with ?
For next years Summer Tires, I'm going with Michelins MXV4
TireRack = $886.84 US = $916.448 Canadian
1010 = $1184.15 Canadian

What type of tires/rims (size and type) were included in their offer? Some dealers are offering cheap offshore stuff - so be careful.muggslab wrote:I was down at the dealership today. I'll be getting my EX35 tomorrow morning so I'm really excited !
The manager offered me their winter tires, starting from CDN $1300+ to $2k (without TPM). I guessed buying anything from dealerships will be expensive so I didn't take his offer.
Currently, I have a set of 17" winter tires for my G35. I doubt there is any possibility of fitting those into the 2011 EX35, is there ? He said that the 2011 uses 19" and the best it can go down to was 18", since 19" will be really expensive (how thoughtful of him).
I really don't want to spend my money on another set of tires if I don't have to. I recall buying those 17" winter tires for about CDN $1.7k back in 2006.
Having said, what's a good set of tires for me if I'm unable to reuse the old ones ? I'm looking for something good and reasonable ? It will be good to know the total cost with/without TPM. I doubt I'll be going for rims now, probably after this winter when I have more cash in hand. Is it cheaper to buy now, or wait till November when it starts to snow in Toronto, Canada ?
My knowledge with cars,parts, tires are really limited, so I'm really looking forward to get some great insights from you folks.
225-55/18 is the standard 18" tire that comes with the 2011 EX35's. Wheel diameters as listed above are for 17" and 18". You can normally play with the sizing a bit (i.e. go a little more narrow) for the winter but you need to keep an eye on the overall diameter so it doesn't affect your speedo too much (or ride height). Also, you'll want to keep an eye on the load/speed ratings on the tire...muggslab wrote:225 55 18 27.744094488189
215 55 17 26.3110236220472
are these the diameters that I should be looking for if I'm scouting for new tires ? Are they the diameters that comes stock with the car ?
Sorry if my questions do sound silly, I'm so new to this...
i am hoping to purchase EX35 next week.canuck99 wrote:New to the forum and the EX35.
Will the wheels off a late model Altima fit the EX35?
From what I can tell,
Description:
ALLOY WHEELS, 18x7.5, 10 SPOKE
NEW FACTORY NISSAN WHEEL
Finish:
SMOKEY HYPER SILVER
WITH GLOSSY CLEARCOAT
Partnumber:
ALY62521U78
FROM 003
These wheels are a 1/2" more narrow than stock (7.5" vs 8" ) with an offset of 45mm vs 47mm (stock). Fitment should mean inner clearance 8mm less and they'll stick out an extra 4mm.

Thoughts?
They seem to be a great deal on ebay.

Those are the rims we got too! Thanks for sharing. I went with standard after market lugs. I see you went with the tuner lugs -- make sure you keep the key in the car!EXceptional wrote:Sorry about the night-time photos... but its getting dark here real early now...
Also, much to my amazement, I haven't gotten a TPMS Warning-light appear on my Dash Gauge-cluster yet. I haven't done anything to prevent this Warning-light from appearing... so, crossing my fingers!
