Ok, i've been wheel/tire ignorant until now. I've got the engine work I wanted done and now i'm in the market for for wheels/tires. All I've decided on now is 17" wheels and in black. Possibly with a polished lip and it needs to be lightweight of course.

Now, what I can't seem to make a final decision on is Wheel width, offset, tire size. Would an expert chime in to tell me what will be perfect on my s13 coupe.

1) wheel width2) offset3) tire size4) your fave wheel brand and design5) where to buy it at!

Btw, looking at tirerack.com drives me crazy and I don't like any of their wheel designs. Suspension will be done at the same time, but it will probably be only struts/springs.

Geez, don't assume I'm an idiot based on my post count. I have been here as long as you. The reason the post count is so low for such a long time, is because I do know how to read. With that said, i've already read through your special stickys. No where in your wheel FAQ does it talk about the different brands of wheels out there and which ones people like.

I was merely asking for "suggestions" based on each person's experience. I planned to look at what has worked for each person and make my decision. This is a discussion forum isn't it?

I appologise, previous to my absence of late, there was a "attention" sticky explaining the information we need to help you in the moest effective manner, these things include:

-Intended use of the car (street, mostly street some track, autocross, etc)-Price range-Weather usage for tire questions (do you get snow, etc?)-Wheel size and design(if applicable) prefered-Car year, model, etc.

SOrry...I'm a bit miffed someone took that down. Either way, if you can post that information I can start to point you in the right direction much easier.

Edit: I put it back up.
