Sup guys/gals, Before I spend crazy amount of money, I just need a review on turbo's for this engine, the RB25det, the Top 3 turbo's I've pick are, but 1st the onlythings that are left for my turbo upgrade is the turbo, turbo manifold and the fuel injectors, also the wastegate.

turbo's I could only find for this car is,

1) Garrett GT3076R --$1,249.99 2) Garrett GT35R --$1,349.993) Garrett T3/TO4E 60 Trim w/ .82 A/R --$618.99

I'm looking for quick/fast spooling turbo, about 450~500hpand now for the turbo manifold, I'm thinking of going for the Peak Performance RB25DET SUS Manifold, but have no idea if that will work with any of these turbo's listed above, 2nd isto have it custom made, which is priced as much as the Peak Perform Mani. or more!!! which route should I go??? I also love top mounted turbos.

""Is it possible to have a custom topmount manifold along with a External Wastegate???""" Is it even possible for a external wastegate???

and now for injectors, which one would work good with my setup, 550ccor 850cc???

Thanks guys for reading, and any reply would help me out so much, Thanks.

Choice 3 is not a fast spooler, I have the .63ar and its not bad to me, but way laggier than a stocker.

If I had to do it again and could afford too, i would do a GT series.

Don't buy a crappy exhaust manifold. Go best or don't do it.

Of course you can run external gate off of a custom manifold, thats really part of the point of doing it. I am running an internally gated exhaust housing through a pipe to an external gate. Not sure there was any real point to this in retrospect...

What are you doing with this thing? Drift, drag street?

drifting/auto-X just needed a good setup, as for the exhaust manifold, I think I'll go with a custom top mount with external wastegate along with the GT30R, I'm aiming for 450~500hp, should I go with the 550cc fuel injectors or the 850cc??? oh and thanks for the reply Evan.

For your HP goals and what you'll be using it for I'd go with your smallest choice. All those turbo's are more than capable of 400 hp... and for drift and auto x, 400 hp in an S chassis would be nuts! So I'd say go for the smallest best responding choice.

550's are just enough. At 450 hp, you might even be close to a pretty steep duty cycle.. What are you tuning with? If its not too hard to subtract hella fuel with whatever your tuning with, go with the 850's.

lol, I'm just going for good all around car, drift/drag. tuning wise is with the power fc, so 850cc would be good for 500+hp? cuz the website I'm getting it from only has the 550cc and 850cc fuel injector kit, thanks for the reply

Whose injectors are you running? I would get the bigger ones if you think upgrades are in your future. The FC should make idle okay with the 850s.

I would err on the larger side for injectors, and totally agree that you should go with the smallest turbo that will make your desired HP.

Your mod list looks good! If you are considering going with Venom fuel injectors (or TLF on ebay). They have a great warranty, but I got a bad set of injectors out of the box. I will definitley spend the extra cash next time because now im paranoid about them failing.

PE injectors, I could only find 550cc and 850cc fuel injector kits on the website, lol I'm getting the fuel injectors, turbo and wastegate all from the same site to save money on shipping, so for 450~500+hp is what i need lol for anything lol just to have a drift/drag car, lol just to have a 500+hp car. so I guess it 850cc then man I wish the website had 650 or 750cc that would help me out, I'm just wondering how much hp can you max out of 550cc injectors? Thanks guys

I got 760cc injectors from deastchwerks, idle is perfect with them. They are all flow tested an balanced. Should be a lot cheaper than PE injectors.

mine idles perfectly with 720cc injectors and the fc...i would go with the gt30r, it will make the hp you want and is fairly responsive if you are trying to drift

I would probably get a 1.5 way diff, 2 ways aren't very good for cornering and handling wise, unless you are going to try and drift everywhere you go.
