Ok, I know this is a retarded question regarding what I noticed on the Greddy V-Spec FMIC system.

On the driver side "Greddy" tube that goes up through the bumper eventually going to the hot pipe and BOV there is a 35-40mm "bung". Now I know this bung has to be capped or blocked off somehow so there is no vacuum leak. If you have a recirculating BOV is this where you run the hose to off of the BOV outlet?

I did a search and havent found anything yet.

No, the recirculating tube should run to the intake tube, after the MAFS. If you vented into the intake track I don't think there would be any pressure release to speak of, defeating the purpose of a BOV.

Make sure you recirculate it after the MAFS or you'll affect the air/fuel mixtures.

i have an atmospheric bov (on greddy rspl, same 'bung'), and i use that bung, to mount my BOV, makes for a cleaner instillation than welding a new one on the hotpipe. I believer there are pics on heavy throttle's website....it looks clean, and you cant see hte BOV..but i know some people 'need ' to see the bov, LOL

so do you have to have a bung put on the pipe that hooks up to the maf or is there one already there? My roommate is swearing that you can route the BOV to the bung that is south of the hot pipe.

I believe that the stock rubber hose thats behind the MAFS already has a place for a recirculating valve to vent into.

Yes, this is true. Right on the rubber intake pipe on the left side its about a 1" extension. Yeah like Jesse says, if that bung on the i/c pipe is on the drivers side of the core, I'd use it to mount BOV/ Recirc. valve. The only reason I didn't use mine is because it was on the passenger side and under the pipe, so there wasn't enough clearance for a valve. You'll have to get someone who can weld alumuinum to mount it for you though.
