time for emissions code 34 and 105 on s14 240

i took the egr off my s14 and now im getting code 105 which is egr something, is there any resistor i can use to make the check engine light turn off, and i think the knock sensor was going off becasue i run about 22* advanced with 87 octane, but i will see. thanks for any help

i want to say i remember that a 100k ohm resistor will make the egr pass. if you want to be sure you can test the resistance of the egr temp sensor on a car that has been freshly driven on a long drive. if you disconnected the egr solenoid valve then you need to connect it again as it will set a code for open circuit. if 100k is wrong go to radio shack and buy the sample pack as it has a million or so different resistors all in order.

thansk a lot, does it have to be 12 volts cause all my radioshack has are 1 volt resistors

i have used 1 volt resistors for things like that before. i think you will be ok. worth a shot anyhow.
