I have a pioneer DEH-P5200 and have decided i was up for an upgrade like 30 years ago!, so i've been debating, double din or single din, i want to put navigation so my problem is choosing between the Pioneer AVIC D3 and the Eclipse AVN 7000? what do u guys think? any experience with either of these?

I think double din is the way to go, since it looks so much cleaner installed in the dash. You may as well take advantage of all that space in the dash. I'm a huge fan of the AVIC-Z2 if you're looking for navigation. I think it's better to use the one with the hard drive because with the other units, you need to have a disc in the unit to view maps, which means you can't listen to a CD and use the navigation at the same time. It's quite a bit more expensive, but you can find them for around $1500 on eBay.

I was looking at Pioneer's Double Din units like the AVIC-D3 and was wondering if the bluetooth feature will work with the factory handsfree/steeringwheel controls and the factory mic?

Ive got a 2008 Versa SL with the bluetooth option (obviously)
