umm NGK FTW! get cap and rotor. Or you could inspect yours b/c you might not need new. I see alot of people replace things that are perfectly fine it makes me mad I cant just waste money like that. I'm not saying you but inspect before replace.

okay, for the purposes of convo ill assume you have a DE.

NGK is where its at. buy the cap and rotor too, but a dizzy is like 200 bones and you dont need it, thats why you can replaces the reciprcating components like the cap and rotor.

when was the last time you bought a coolant temp sensor? you can check the fsm and then check the resistance across the terminals to see if its out of spec. however, when i jsut last changed mine i felt the car get a little slower, because it was running even richer... but eventually the CTS fails all together and then it loses all power. ive heard nissan guys say it should be replaces every two years, which cant be true, but if its the original one....

fluids, youve already said that. i havent done it recently, but a change of brake fluid is nice (not a complete change, im talking about taking the crap out of the resevoir with a turkey baster.

tune up to me means: new ignition stuff, fluids, CTS, and check for all vac leaks.

speaking of break fluid changes, just finished mine up yesterday, not with a turkey basterthough, lol, blead at all four calipers by my mutha ****ing self, talk about pita. Pump, fill, pump, fill, pump, fill and so on. Much better feel to the pedal. And my steering wheel doesnt shake horrible any more when stomping the breaks.

Smoke yeah son. that must taken at least two hours, or you have speed bleeders, in which case i need to invest in a set. they are less then like ten bones anyway.

should i get all this from the dealer? i was looking at NOPI online and they seem to have good prices. i shouldn't need a completely new distributor though, correct? that'll save me 150 bucks. i have heard about the cts sensor and definetely plan on that, but haven't thought about the coolant temp sensor (i'll look into that)thanks!
