Once you throw that stuff on then you really need to get it tuned by getting a standalone like E-manage or AEM EMS and throw that ish on the dyno.

Now do it and post pics... you know we like pics.

Well first off E-manage isnt a standalone, like Gixer said. Its a piggyback..

What are your goals for your car?

Stand alones are really expensive typically. Your looking at 1000+ for an AEM EMS, but its tried and true.

If your new to boost, i'll give you this piece of advice. Stay under 7-8 pounds and use an Apexi SAFC2. They are the easiest way for you to get into boost, and really learn how to tune yourself. I learned on a SAFC2 and an SR, and now have moved up to a full stand alone system with little difficulty.

If you spend 300 or some odd dollars on a good wideband you can really learn yourself. A wideband will tell you what your actual air/fuel ratios are. Narrow band O2 sensors only tell you when you are at 14.7, i mean if you are richer than that or leaner. They are completely useless for tuning in boost, as you are seeking 11-12 afr's in boost. If you dont buy a wideband, you will spend more at the dyno having them tune it for you.

Also, if you decide to go the SAFC route, and later down the line you want to turn up the boost, you can easily sell your SAFC2.They are always in demand in our world of boost..

OOPS you caught me, AEM EMS is standalone but the E-manage is a piggyback, sorry. I was typing in a hurry.

Also I agree about the wideband thing.... all other types of A/F ratio guages are just dancing LED lights....oooohhhh ahhhhh.

Yeah but half these idiots didn't even realize it...the blacktop was a tad of a give away, I'll move it for ya. Although I think instinctively you want to be in the KAT forum and I can't blame you there.

Dont waste your $ on a rom tune. If you ever upgrade again you have to spend another $500 to get everything right. APEX makes a good product but you would be better off getting a GReddy Emanage Ultimate. $525 and its easy to tune , has a troubleshooting guide, had all the features of a standalone and is OBD2 compliant so no worries when you go in for emissions. Get a standalone and a real shop will scan your obd2 and fail you right on the spot.

Go PFC. By the time you add in the cost of the Enthalpy Tune and then retunes for any mods you do afterwards, youd wish you bought a PFC. You have to retune the car everytime you change injectors, cams, and intake manifold. Just be smart and get a PFC to save money in the long run.

I love the GReddy as it does a LOT more than just fuel but if all you need is a fuel computer the APEXi unit does the job...
