Hey. Need some help deciding on what turbo to get. My t-25 is starting to burn oil and it's time to either rebuid it or upgrade. I would like to put out 300hp at the wheels in the future, so i guess the t-25 is out of the question. So I thought maybe the T-28 BB for a cheap and effecient drop in. But then your pushing 300hp there. I've looked at a few kits on the net. HKS, Blitz, Apex, Greddy. So far the HKS gt2540 kit looks the most appealing to me. Then I was looking at Enjuku.com and saw some of there kits. Anyone had any experience with them, or heard? I called turbocity.com and they have a rebuild kit for my t-25 for $113. Should i wait to do a good upgrade or splurge. Keep in mind i would like to stay below 2400. thanks guys

Your list of mods doesnt include a boost controler, or any type of fuel computer.. If i were you I'd make the t25 last as long as possible while you got all the other parts your gonna need.

you dont need a $2400 HKS good goody turbo.

Get a turbonetics T3 with a housings and compressors that supply air for 300 whp $800. I would get a JWT retune too.

peak horsepower turbos are for dyno queens and drag strip monsters, i would concider more of what you really want out of a turbo, like spool, low end boost, $$$, etc....... and what you use that car for.

Good point J-Spec Tuner. do you think a t-28 would be a good turbo for daily driver/ weekend warrior.

depends on which T28, i have a T28 from a s15 and i bought it cause its dual ball bearing even though every one thinks it doesnt put out enough power, it will spool quicker than almost any turbo out their without the use of spooling aids like N2O.

Im definatly not the expert on turbos, but i have heard lots of good things about HKS turbos and turbo kits....
