Ok guys, I lknow some of you are rocking pretty aggressive wheel fitments out there. mannytrinadad was rolling on 20x8 (front) and 20x10 (rear) but he never posted the offsets. I'm looking to get the same setup... 20x8.5 +35 for the front but the problem is the back. I want to get 20x10 for the rear but the offset I can get is either +45 or +27. Which one to get? :gotme
Currently I'm running 18x8.5 +35 with 7mm spacers which brings my offset to + 28 but that's on a 8.5" rim. Is it the same logic for a 10" wheel? Help guys... Gonna be ordering these soon!

Go with 20x10 +27

The +45 is gonna look hella sunk, no bueno imo. My old setup was 20x10 +15 so I can relate. Can't wait to see those wheels!

My bad...the wheel is 20x10.5...not 10. That shouldn't make a difference right?

Not a huge difference, but i wouldnt do the +45. I use to have that and it was kinda ugly IMO. I have +30's now and they look amazing so i would assume +35 would be just as nice.

So the concenus is to go with the 20x10.5 +27offset? Tires will be 275/30s...

You might want to check this out if you haven't already: Wheel Offset Calculator. It will give you a pretty accurate idea of how much further the new wheel will stick out than your current setup.

Yeah I saw that but the numbers in the results is hard to visuailze. I wished there was a website that actually showed the difference like this wheel calculator. You guys know if there's anything out there like that?

I think you should be fine. I'm assuming you have your fenders rolled?

This is a 275/30/19, it's in 19s but you get the idea..

Yeah Bro...I'm never to proud to ask my fellow NICO bros for help. IF worst comes to worst, I'll drop to 19s. I can get a 19x9 +35 and I know I'll be safe. rear tires would just be 265/30 instead of 275/30s...

SanoSuke and AlexM are the fitment dudes, listen to what they have to say. In fact Alex did a whole write up on fitment, search it out. It might have even been stickied.

In the mean time...

Here you go D. I know you know the math/tech/science, but I think he gives a few examples of size combinations in here (TL:DR).

BTW, what wheels are you looking at? I honestly think your AC is better suited for smaller wheels, 19s might look better. I like the wheels you have now, with a fresh coat of powder of course.

He needs to lose those wheels bro. You can't have a car this heavily modded without Baller status wheels. Complete the package dude.

Since your last setup was a 20x10 +15, then a 20x10.5 +27 should work on the coupe with no rubbing issues what so ever. Also , just found out that I can get it in 20x10 +35 which I believe should work perfectly since I'm running 18x8.5 +35 now. Thoughts?

So I followed the link that DJ B posted and it brought me to AlexM's post. After reading it I cam up with this math.
Like I mentioned before, my current setup is a 18x8.5 +35 and I'm running 7mm spacers to clear my BBK. With that said the math on that would be the following: 8.5"/2 = 4.25" (108mm) minus 35 (for the offset) = 73mm or 2.87". If I got the 10" wheel, it would be 10"/2 = 5" (127mm) minus 35 (for the offset) = 92mm or 3.62"...so a little over 3 and half inches. Now since I'm running 7mm spacers, that essentially will bring down my offset to a +28 (35-7=28) So on my current setup, it would be 108mm - 28mm = 80mm or 3.15" and on a 10" setup it would be 127mm - 28mm = 3.90"

Basically if I took a ruler and placed it on the hub pointing out and did a level line from the outer fender edge down to where it meets the ruler, as long as it doesn't stick out more than 3.62" (without spacer) from the hub or 3.90" (with spacer) from the hub, I should be fine.

is my math right...

The wider the better, I always say lol. Hmm I honestly didn't even think about your BBK. The Math checks out but now I'm worried about rubbing issues with that setup since I didn't count the spacers from the beginning. The 275/30 will be too beefy for that setup and will rub.

If diameter is not an issue I think you should go with 19s just to play it safe. However, if you want to stick with 20s then you might have to consider a slight tire stretch.

With that said, I'm thinking that the 19x8 +35 (front) and 19x9 +35(rear) would be better. It'll only be 6.3 mm more which will make it hella flush. Not worried about the front tire fitment cause I know that will fit. But the rear will most likely be a 265 instead of 275 for a slight tire stretch. Whadda yo think...

And LIPrincess,...post up some pics of your new Rota's!

^ that. Are you counting the spacers in or those are stock offsets? Either way it should work. The only thing is, if I were you I'd try and get a wider rear. Gives the car that wide mean looking stance, even tho we're FWD.. :woot:

Well thats kind of what I mean. His car is modded and made to look track ready, not dumped low and slow to look pretty. If he goes entirely stance on these wheels its going to be odd. He needs flush with meaty tires and none of the camber BS.
