Hey peoples! I've been a Nissan enthusiast ever since I could remember. My dad owned a lot of JDM imports back home in Paraguay, South America. I have great memories helping him do work and maintenance on all his vehicles way back when I was a wee little guy. One of my favourites though, was his 1995 Nissan Pathfinder with TD27 motor, for some reason haha. Anyways, I've always wanted a 90's Nissan, so as soon as I turned 16 and got my liscence, I started hunting for some. A year later, I had found a minty fresh 1991 240sx Hatchback SE. This was after looking at a million rotted cars by the way. Stole if for $2000 off an old school teacher. The original motor had 277 000km's, and was burning oil.

I just recently joined this forum, so I will be updating my build thread every day as much as possible, to catch up to the state/condition that the car is in as of right now. I don't feel like spending 4 hrs uploading pictures and writing out the whole story in one day. Haha.

Looks clean!
You should take the foam spoiler off, it looks like it's deformed a bit already, there could be some rust underneath there.

This was the car almost 2 years ago. I'm updating this build thread every day as much as I can, so I can get to what it's like as of right now.

Bought another KA24DE out of a crashed 1998 Automatic S14. Took the motor apart, bought new gaskets, water pump, spark plugs, wires, distributor, etc.

After driving with the S14 KA for about a year, I decided to purchase an SR. I went for a 1994 Zenki S14 SR20DET. Again, bought the motor, took it completely apart on the outside, cleaned it up, did all the gaskets and waterpump, and threw it in! I also took apart the front end on the car, sanded down worn out paint, rust-proofed with oil-based paint in blue. Yes, I do regret the blue even though it's not visible.

If anyone has any parts for sale that you think will benefit my build, please inbox me! My car is too stock, and needs a lot! I'm primarily looking for a driveshaft (I want aluminum, but stock will do for now) manual boost controller, T28 turbo or bigger (motor swap came with a T25) wheels, coilovers, strut bars, sway bars, seats, turbo timer, OEM sideskirts and rear valence, exhaust, oil catch can, and a LOT more. That's just for this season.

This car has been my inspiration to what I want my car to aspire to. No I don't drift, although it's a blast, haha.

Like I mentioned, if anyone has any used/new parts that might benefit my build, please let me know! The car is part-hungry!

Thanks man! I don't have mad baller parts. I'm a student, and build on a budget, so the only thing I can brag about on this car, is it's cleanliness, haha. I have decided to do my own wiring for the S14 SR as well, to save money for a bigger turbo.

Nothing wrong with a budget build if you do it right. I have a CA18 in an S14, cross chassis motor wiring is harder, but doable.

CA18DET in an S14? Hmm, first one I ever hear of! Do you have a build thread I can creep? And yup! My buddy has a B18 in his old school Austin Mini. He did all the wiring himself, and works mint. It's a big inspiration. To be able to do as much as you can on your own car, without having a mechanic touch your wallet, and you car, primarily.

No build thread really. I should make one, but it's been years and I have way too many pictures, LOL!

Really a manual boost controller can be had off Ebay for like 20 bucks shipped, or you can go to home depot to buy the stuff to make one yourself for around $7.

The rest of the stuff, just keep an eye on the classifieds section.

Yeah, I think some are lol. I subscribed to NICO just a little while ago, and didn't want to start the build thread halfway through. So some of it is so old, that I kind of forgot the order. I also posted most of it in one day, so I got a tad messy with photobucket and getting my story right. My apolagies to anyone whose confused! From now on in, it'll all be in order obviously.

Sorry, wasn't alble to update :( My wiring harness didn't come in yet, so I cancelled the order. Doing it myself. Saving about $450. Now, tomorrow there will be a small update for sure :) Thanks to all those subcribed to my boring thread :P haha.

By the way! Guys, this is URGENT!!! I need to find a T28. I'm looking to buy a T28 from a GTiR Pulsar, and making an S14/GTiR T28 hybrid. So if anyone knows someone with one, could you let them know? Or spread the good word! haha. Thanks, I'd appreciate it.

Well hello Nico. It's been so long since I've worked on my car! Partly due to me getting another job, so now working 2. Anyways, I've done a few small things since the last update. I've taken some pics of random things to get everyone caught up.
HKS SSQV IV with aluminum hot pipe.
Image
I've decided to ziptie my bumpers, it's so much easier than doing it the "proper" way. Plus, my car isn't a show car, so doesn't have to look pretty.
Image
Megan Racing turbo elbow, wrapped.
Image
Frame rail shot (passenger's side)
Image
How my wheel wells look.
Image
Driver's side frame rail.
Image
Isis 3" dual tip catback with resonator.
Image
Megan Racing 3" downpipe with flex.
Image
3" test pipe, because I want to shoot flames.
Image
Driveshaft shop one-piece steel driveshaft
Image
Random shot with bumper
Image
OMP Corsica 350mm, which my girlfriend bought me ;) BONUS! :D
Image
Random shot without bumper!

Woooooah you lost me, that WAS a really nice looking car.

There's hood pin things you can put on the edges in front of the bumper extensions, (somehow) for a quick release that looks smooth. But the "I don't care how my ziptie X's look because I'm a hardcore drifter who likes attention" look? No....
