i bought my 93 coupe about 3 months ago and have been in love ever since. now i want to eventually get into some time attach races cause i dont want to make my car fast for just daily driving, although i want to do that too. ive tried searching but cant find the right thing. im starting from scratch so if any of you know or just want to jump in go right ahead. as of now im aiming for suspension and paint. ill probably take it to maaco for a solid job im obviously planning on something better but thats later when im close to done. as of now im thinkin of a dark gray/charcoal color. plus my bro in law promised to give me some 19" gold rims and tires im not too sure what they are but ill let you know. i know 19's are big but hell if i can make them fit and theyre free, im doin it. ok so for suspension what would be a good one for it? i know tein and all these others are good but are they good for time attack? what about cusco? im also getting some brembo rotors and ceramic pads off ebay for 160. here are some pics of my baby

p.s. some douche broke my wing so its off now

Well if your going to time attack you need to get point to point fast. You need to:

A: Have powerB: Have Handling to control the power.C: The brakes to stop it.D: Safety gear / items.

You want something with a good powerband and reving..., build something rev happy with boost.

But if I were you start with brakes then suspension, get a feel to the car then get your power.

first of i just wanna say i hope your not thinking of time attacking on 19's

start with z32 complete brake upgrade if you have the money go with stance coils best bang for the buck but if you dont d2's are niceget ruca's, sway bars etc...

dont worry about power just yet get the feel for the car then maybe a KA-T,SR, or RB

start small it helps

Start with suspension/brakes and learn how to drive with that. Then do swaps when you know how to drive. Just get some good track time, thats the best thing you can invest in.

yeah i know for sure i need brakes and suspension thanks you guys pretty much told me what i was wondering for now. as far as the rims i wasnt thinking of really doing anything now cause i mean i dont have any good brakes, or suspension or the money for the racing yet either. im definitely taking the longer more conserved route, i dont want to push anything. but yeah keep the advice coming! ima be getting some stuff soon so ill keep you guys posted!
