My car is in a pile of bits scattered about my parents house. I have had the hardest time getting a job, and the one I did land doesn't start until next month. As such, I am broke as a joke, and since I have my brothers car to drive until well, ever, there is not much sympathy towards my cause.
I need to order some new oversize pistons, a head gasket, main and rod bearings, have the block bored and decked, and then get the whole assembly balanced.
Then I need to rebuild it.
THEN I can worry about a tune.
Sorry man, I have not gotten my s*** in gear at all. If I am lucky I can pick up some construction job for a few weeks and get enough money together for pistons.
I also have the problem of time, because the job I got requires me to go to North Carolina for several months, and the job finishes the day before I start school again in the fall. That means I have to drive straight from NC to Auburn, and my car probably will never get back together (well, until Christmas at least - you know I'll never give up on it).
Its all very depressing.
If you want though, I can give you all his contact info. Actually, the shop just had their GC8 Impreza in Modified Mag, and its awesome as f***. s***, I'll even set you up an appointment and go with you. I just don't have a running car that needs tuning.
Actually that last bit isn't entirely true, but the BMW dealership is going to re-flash the ECU on the 330i for a flat $220.

Holler at that guy. He does amazing things with cars, and he has already confirmed that he is game to tune a CA18DET with MegaSquirt.
That shop (Top Speed) had a sick nasty GC8 Impreza in the latest Modified Mag, you should check it out (not suggesting you buy it, but go read it for free somewhere).
