I am proud to say that my motor will live on. Tim came and picked up the motor and transmission + a bunch of random stuff. He promised it would be running soon. Everyone get on him until he does. I want to thank everyone for the help and knowledge I have gained about this brilliant little motor. The CA forum is a good group of guys plus one gal. I might be back before you know it . Thanks again

Made it home and everything. No problems at all with the drive. I did have some things shift on me when I got to the awesome windy part of the drive, but a good tap of the brakes packed it all together again.

Ill try to get the ball rolling on this whole engine swap thing. Shouldnt take more than a few hours, but finding a few free hours may take a little while. Thanks again for everything, man. It was really nice to be able to get everything I needed and not have to deal with sketchball individuals over the internet.

If it wasn't for the pic, I'd never have believed it!

Holler at me if you need any help or any of my spare parts.

Hey Tim,

I bet it was nice to kow that 'ol Dee wasn't after that motor :lolling: I'm glad you got that engine, now get the dang thing in your whip and get back to doing what most of are lacking with our CA powered cars and that's enjoying the ride.

Fact: Dee is, in fact, after every CA18 motor in existence. I have this nagging feeling that you won't be perfectly happy until you own all of them.

Put engine hoist together this morning before work. Just need to dig up my clutch and transmission bolts and EVERYTHING ELSE, EVER. Probably need to get something done about my totally worn out engine mounts (for a KA24E, no less), but alas, I am out of money for the moment.

E: Damn that whipped cream looks f*** good.

For clarification, Dee is the American hoarder. I am the Japanese hoarder. Jason is the European hoarder. The rest of you are screwed.

It's officially retro night in the CA forum! Dee, Mike, Tim, and Ryan (me) all posting in one thread?!?!?! The OG's united, I never would have believed it. The next fun part is to wait until the first guy falls asleep so we can draw on his face with a permanent marker...

Mike, how do you know that's the type of whip he was referring to? What if he meant something more like this:

Now when I tried to post that pic of Mike up, he got mad at me, but when he posts it, it's fine!

I've actually started turning down parts that folks try to dump on me. My garage is full again (very full), so the CA18 flea market will open as soon as I get my sentra back on its feet. What's with the whipping chicl :tisk: . Tim, Mike, Ryan: I am seriously concerned with you guys' mental status. Honestly, looking at this thread, a quick but sick vision of you guys in a male threesome flashed my mind (1 millisecond) with Tim having on that black cat suit, Ryan having on a pink bunny rabbit suit and Mike, well, Mike is just plain nasty because he didn't appear to have on anything :barf:. You guys left me no choice:

Happy Easter, PHUCKERS :lolling: I'm sick now........ :wtf2:

It makes sense, though. You have to be pretty messed up in the head to begin with to be a CA nut anyways.

Pretty much. Every engine attracts certain types. CA guys are salt of the earth types, but a little off. ;)
