Few hp maybe. But if the car got a real bad A/F ratio like the b15 SpecV 2002-03, it can result in a better mpg in the end by correcting it with the SAFC.biggie wrote:You can install it, as far as I know. But its not really worth it, you can maybe gain a couple hp, but also possibly blow the engine, depending on the tuning.
For install you would need to find the wiring diagram of your car and splice in the wires in the correct place in your harness.
turbo kit is costly and it is not ligel in my contreysilverarrow27 wrote:Custom turbo kit.
Really though, you should take your car in to have a base dyno run. From there the techs there should be able to tell you what you need to squeeze a few more hp here and there whether its your timing or a/f ratio.
Did you have your Civic hooked up with a wideband o2 sensor tuned on a dyno machine though?Versafy wrote:DONT DO IT!!!! i had one in my 1996 civic EX and it was a b**** to tune and dial in also right when you get it running right itll pop your computer and put it in protective mode..... also ive heard the versa computer can detect tampering and shut the whole system down..... i wouldnt do it
