Tiida Sport Concept

While browsing the net, I cam across the Tiida Sport Concept. It looks pretty sweet. I'm really liking the rims on it, very unique. If you're refering to the Azeal, the new Sentra has a lot of the same lines. I guess even more so if they come out with a coupe.

Which is one thing that really bugs me about Nissan. Lack of a low cost coupe. That tiida concept as a Versa 2Door would just own..

I'm not too crazy about the interior, but the exterior is simply fantastic. I never understood why so many awesome concept cars end up so bland if they ever even make it to production.

(Seriously, that body is VERY much like the production Versa, just with a bit more flair and 2 doors.)

Because, when it comes to the step of mass producing the car while maintaining a relatively [and preferably] low cost, some things must be simplified and changed. You have to keep in mind that these concept cars were built on an individual basis, a lot of work went into what they considered "perfecting" it, this work is hard to replicate through the use of mass production.

Some things like the side windows + 2-doors is somewhat eminiscent of the Versa/Tiida cousin - the Renault Clio V6 Sport.

I think one day we may see this being produced. This looks like something that would put that Honda Si out of business. It looks like crap compared this concept. This concept looks feasible compared to some others. Like the Plymouth Prowler, a lot of people thought that car would never be produced because the concept was too radical.
