Hey, I am new to the forum, hoping that I can get some assistance in sorting out the problem that I am experiencing with my Tiida.
It's a 2007 Tiida from Japan carrying the HR15 1.5L engine with CVT transmission.

The problem I am experiencing is that the engine light occasionally comes on where the car operates normal only that you cannot cross 2500rpms, if that happens that car starts to buck where you have no choice but the decelerate.

I have went to a couple of mechanics with diagnostic scanners where both have said different problems. The first said that its the air flow sensor and the other said its the brain box.

So far I have tried different air flow sensors by which none have worked. Now the other thing I am going to do is try another brain box and hope it works.

Anyone opinions are more than welcome. Thanks.

One winter when it was exceptionally cold out(-15 def f) i had the same thing happen, was right after i bought my car in 07 it freaked me out, but as soon as the engine bay warmed up and i reseated the maf clip it went away. seeing as you tried several maf it could be a bad connector or a break in the wire along the harness somewhere, hopefully not ecu, but hey find a friend with a versa and plug his ecu in :P
