18's? huge! i mean i understand that they fit the wheel well, but my question is... even after you put on the lowering springs, wont the car still be riding SUV height? or not. idk. it doesnt appear so in the pic... but it definately throws the calibration of your speedometer off and adds a significant amount of breaking distance needed.

but all and all... i agree. they look great!

If the tire is correctly sized then overall diameter would not change, therefore same ride hieght and same speedo. Depending on weight would affect braking/acceleration slightly.

Very tasteful. Like the mods so far. Almost thought it would be a Chromed Versa/Tiida.

Do you think a Versa could go 225/45/18 w/o rub??? I've read it before and want to do it; willing to ask people as well.
I have read somewhere before that 225/45 works w/o rub and there were pix of the car turning, no issues...
Don't remember where I saw it ... Was a Blue "V"

What do you think...? :gotme

I love the look of 18" wheels but with 35 series rubber they just ride terrible :tisk:

225/40 R18, 40 is too hi profile & heavy tire to drive a Versa, it mess up camber kit & suspension. It is better switch to 225/35 R18 which is working great for me since 1 year ago (dec 2009)... 215/35 & 205/35 are good & even the very rare 225/30 R18 works fine.
.
I got more recent pics of this ride at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3320278/2008-nissan-versa
