Post

Hi versa owners,

I am a Tiida Diesel Owner, from Canary Islands (Spanish Islands in Atlantic, 100 km from Africa).[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]

I have not seen any info about my car engine her so I´m going to describe it briefly.

Diesel engines are about 60-70 % of sales due to lower price than normal gasoline in Spain.

This engine (K9) is manufactured by Renault and it has a power of 105 cv turbo included. It is a 6 manual, and officially needs 4-5 litres of diesel fuel every 100 km.

In Spain it has been sold only for 2 years with 3 engines: 1.6 and 1.8; and 1.5 turbo diesel. And 3 different levels: VISIA (basic), ACENTA (middle equiped); and TEKNA (full).

I have got a TIIDA ACENTA PACK, equiped with: RADIO CD + 6 speakers and bluetooth included; CLIMA; ABS; 6 AirBags; 15´ Wheels; Cruise Control; sliding back seats (about 30 cm); fog lights.... etc, for not more than 12000 €.

This is actually very interesting. I wasn't aware that there were these other options especially the diesel.

Sweet. I don't get why the US has almost no diesel cars. I would love a diesel Versa. More low end torque and awesome gas mileage.
