for some reason my car shakes violently after about 30mph. I am thinking maybe I forgot to tighten one of my motor mounts where it goes into the block.

is there any way to tighten it without removing the engine?

check your wheels, lugnuts, alignment. I doubt it's a "loose engine mount".

Yes, its very possible to tighten the motor mounts with the engine in there. The top ones should be easy to get to. But, the bottom ones, you'll probably need a long extension.

The bottom ones you just need a deep socket and enough room to get under there

ahaha I got it. thanks. I ended up re-checkin my motor mount tightness, which makes me feel good.

anyyyyyway... I was missing the driveshaft bushing around where the driveshaft goes into the transmission... someone told me it was a piece of distributor... lol
