found this site browsing around. http://www.tigerautoparts.com I'm sure this site isn't new to some of you.anywayson this site they are selling an 4WD/AWD RB25det from a 93+ skyline gts for 800 plus shipping.since it is awd, does this mean that if one were to use this motor for a swap in a 95 240sx, they would need to do the same thing with the oil pan and the transmission as they would for an RB26dett swap? this all seems logical but i wanted to confirm it and or get any other tips on using a this motor for a 95 and up 240sx.

Just to let you know they butchered my harness and didn't send me a maf. The motor i bought is currently taken apart and im getting new rings for it since there was carbon buildup past the second compression ring. Other than that the motor has been pretty nice... the motor spun smoothly before i took it apart to fix the crank collar.

To answer your question, you will probably need a different transmission and oil pan for it like with the rb26.

lol, their intentions seem to be good, but for the most part the customer service blows

my PS pulley was bent, no MAF, no transmission xmember when they said there would be one, O2 sensor was messed up, AAC sensor was broken. etc etc

I'm STILL waiting on a $80 (for about $250 worth of parts) refund from them...it's been over 3 months now...ugh

My friend bought a complete rb26dett swap with rb25det transmission, he asked them for everything, all sensors in working condition, and a full uncut wiring harness; when it came in the harness was almost not even there, it was all cut up, the throttle pulley was bent, he asked them twice if it came with MAF sensors(I was there with him), and they said yes, never got them, there was no starter, power steering pulley was bent, some of the sensors were gone, and ECU was the wrong one, i called them about it and they said that they never said it would come with any of the items he requested, so he opened a case on BBB, and they said they'll refund 300, but whenever he called them back, they wont talk to him anymore, its been almost a year and still havent received nothing, so with the experience that my friend had with them, I wouldnt suggest them at all, but you could if you want to, i remember him telling me that the price that he got for his motor was too good to be true, but then again I guess you get what you pay for.
