Well, the new spokesperson for Nike swoosh condoms is making a public statement tomorrow, before a small hand pic'd small group of friendly reporters. this is not a press conference. . He will not take questions, which sucks.

In true Tiger fashion, he conveniently timed this choreographed dog and pony show during a PGA event sponsored by Accenture, which by coincidence, was the first of his major sponsors to dump him when the parade o' ho's started going public.

It is expected he will announce he's going to restart swinging his club, as opposed to hitting swingers clubs. He is also expeected to offer a well scripted/rehearsed "apology" for his behavior and will pronounce himself cured of sexual addition. The big question is, how many people will be looking at the size of the podium while he speaks wondering if it's big enough to hold a kneeling woman inside (like that scene fron Police Academy)?

I can't say I cared about Tiger Woods before he made a mess of things.

I still don't care now.

I'm going to go ahead and keep on not caring.

^ this. I have never cared about golf and I am not going to pretend to care because some guy cheated on his wife. I personally know people doing this amongst my own company and dont care about that, why would I concern myself with someone I dont know?

All that said...

... this is also true. Mainly because he portrayed himself as a "good guy". I've never liked people that try to be "good guys" because in the end, none of us are infallible and everyone has character flaws.

So someone was not faithful. Not my business. Move on.

Tiger woods was shirtless on some magazine cover last month or this month.

It's a bunch of PR BS. The only person he owes an apology to is his wife and his children. And here's the deal. you will NEVER convince me that he is sorry for screwing all those women. He's sorry he got caught, but is he sorry he did it? Come on!

The fact is that from the day his infidelity was discovered, his name was trash in the public eye. If he can live with that, he'll be just fine. If 6 billion people's opinion of him make a difference in his life, well, he's probably going to be looking for a bridge to jump off of.

Part of what's amusing is that since he's married, his many sexual encounters are officially due to a "sex addiction". But if he was single, he'd simply be a "playa".

Dude is rich as f***, is one of the biggest names in the country and spends his time golfing and banging hot chicks.

Hardly sounds like an idiot tbh. Questionable morals, sure.... but how many guys would give their left nut to be Tiger.

People will soon forget.

we are the american public, and we have an unquestionable right to know everything about everyone's lives at all times so that we may criticize, judge, crucify, martyr, envy, hate, and idolize them.

why? because apparently our very own lives are so boring and insignificant that we feel we must live vicariously through celebrities to find some type of meaning to it all. and the worst part is, there are those of us who claim we don't care (myself included), yet we still get caught in these conversations. it makes me sick.

I think you might have misunderstood."Playa", means a guy who sleeps/strings along many women at the same time without their knowledge of each other.

If he was an average citizen, we have no reason to comment on his being a horny narcissist. But as a global celebrity who's been paid a fortune portraying a nice clean cut devoted family guy, it's huge news (and comment worthy) when it's discovered that he's actually the opposite.

That's two good decisions made by Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting of the accounting firm Arthur Andersen). When AC broke away from AA it removed the possibility of any contamination from the Enron scandal that Arthur Andersen was implicated in and continues to lay siege to what little is left of the company to this day.

He's clever. Takes himself out, creates pent-up demand from sponsors and fans, creates a void, and returns with a big splash. Tiger will be bigger than ever. Cheating on his wife was an accidentally brilliant career move.

Pretty much.Plus, people will forget.

I mean, didn't Kobe pull the surprise butt sex? How much is that talked about now? At least tiger has no question its consensual.

Chris Brown beat the s*** out of a famous & hot chick. Things may not be completely back on track for him, but he is doing alright... and he has no where near the talent or marketability as Tiger.

6 months, and tiger is back to being nothing more then a famous golfer.

Most big golf fans have forgiven Tiger or not care in the first that he's been outed as a high paid horny philandering narcissist. But like it or not, his antics have made him a caricature of himself for horny philandering narcissists. that's not going away anytime soon, especially when he decides to resume his high visibility career.

To illustrate,OJ Simpson was a hall of fame football player, popular pitchman (Hertz), comedic actor (Naked Gun movies). Since that scandal involving his wifes death many years ago, where he was acquitted, if you now hear the name OJ Simpson, what comes to mind? Unless you're a hardcore football fan, most folks are still gonna think first of that scandal.
