I want to purchase the Tien's S-Type lowering springs and install them just on front and leave stock springs in the back. Can some please give me some feed back on this. How it might look, will it sub?

The only reason you would have any rubbing problems is the wheels don't fit properly. The s tech springs lower the front 1.9" and the rear 1.4". I would say that you are going to offset the handling of the vehicle by only lower the front and it is not going to be the best looking modification either.

If you are looking for less of a drop, the eibach pro kit only lowers the vehicle 1.3" f/r.

It will actually improve handling, especially body roll.

no you will not need camber bolts; the drop is not significant enough to increase your camber unless you're running 20's with huge freaking tires, which you shouldn't be anyways.

I believe he meant if you drop the car all the way around you will improve handling

I meant if you drop the front 2" and leave the rear stock it will not improve anything to include looks. Springs are sold as set of 4 for a reason. You are trying to use aftermarket springs with different spring rates at different drop rate in unison with oem springs.

A 2" drop may require cam bolts, hard to say until you get an alignment, unless someone in here speaks from experience on the effects of 2" drop on an altima. I know a 2" drop puts my front camber out of spec, enough to need camber arms though, we will see based on tire wear.

I haven't figured out what 20" wheels have to do with alignment unless they are the wrong widths and offset.

I have a 1.5 in gab on the rear from tire to finder and a 3.6 inch gab from tire to finder in the front. I just want to close in the gab in the front with the S-Type. That's all I want to do. The S-Type gives me a 1.9 drop. With the drop and an alignment it should ride fine right, maybe alittle rougher of a ride but I am not racing the thing just everyday driver. That's all I want to do

Unfortunately all cars have more fender gap front than rear because the way the fenders are cut. You seem to have your mind made up so order them already and show us the results.

as i said before, no camber bolts will be necessary. im lowered on coils (plus i have 20's with 245/35 tires) and i have no issues with rubbing. the front fenders on the altima coupe come pretty much rolled stock, so the stock camber adjustment on the front will suffice. the fact that you have such a large gap disparity between front and back is odd; stock the front should be a 4 finger gap while the back should be 3. and i know for a fact 1 finger does not equal 2.1 inches. i would look into that as an issue.

seeing as the back will drop 2 inches (while you currently claim to have 1.5 inches of clearance), you will need to roll your rear fenders as well as look into a camber kit. here's some useful information for you though (it's bolded because people tend to skip the non-bolded s***)

GET ADJUSTABLE REAR CAMBER ARMS FOR A 350Z. They bolt right up to our cars (the stock part number for the rear camber arm is the same for both the 350z and the a/c), so you don't have to worry about trying to dremel through to install those stupid camber bolts.

Rule of thumb; anything greater than a 1.5" drop will need camber arms. Even an inch is pushing it too.

I just ordered the lowering springs and strut bar from Racing line proformance. The springs give me a 1.9 drop in the front and .4 in drop in the rear. Any else do this combo?
