Hi All,
first Post, long time reader and appreciate the advice over the years.
Ran into a situation (or curb/wall on right corner) where I now have to replace the Rack and Pinion and my Inner and outer Tie Rods are bent on my 96 s14.

I am looking at purchasing a rebuilt Rack and Pinion from Ebay, and I have already purchased the Moog ES3438 Outer Tie Rod Ends, and the rack comes with OEM inner tie rods. I was wondering if I also purchased only the TEIN inner tie rods, will I still be able to take advantage of the 2nd configuration of "increased steering angle" that Tein advertises with only the inners and going to Moog outers or do I have to have the whole TEIN setup. Or if you think it is just a waste of money, I'll keep the OEM inners. Thoughts welcomed, it is a daily driver but may try a drift day down the road when I get an SR20det in it. Thoughts/advice.

From Tein:
TEIN Tie Rods and Tie Rod Ends are designed to replace weak OEM components. The TEIN units are not only stronger but are also capable of increased steering angle. By utilizing a larger diameter rod and stronger materials, TEIN was able to increase rod strength by 10~55% depending on application. The TEIN tie rod ends can be configured in two ways, OEM steering angle, or increased steering angle. Which allows for tighter turning radius, and deeper drift angles.

Because you have an S14, you don't have to get the TEIN outers for it to work as stock as far as I know. I believe the moog ends will work (I know the thread is the same). As for the taking advantage of the "increased steering angle" bit. hopefully someone who has some experience with them can chime in. If you had an S13, you'd have to get S14 outers to go with them, as the S13 uses a smaller thread than the S14.
