I've got the stock wheels on the car. They suposedly have an offset of 41mm right?? or 40? Either way it's ok...

I'm running 205's with +41mm offset and they JUST barely clear the coilovers...

If i change to +35 offset wheels i should have room for 215's right?? They are 5mm wider on each side and i'm picking up 6mm of space.

I need a sanity check...

yes, and plus you will have a little smaller sidewall that wont expand as much as the stock 205/55 (if you are going 215/45 or 50.... thats exactly what I got and am getting as well...

you have stock tires now? or 17" +41 wheels now, what width wheels are the new ones, versus the old..?

you're going to have to give me:OLD wheel size, width, offset andnew wheel width, offset, etc

to be determined correctly.-chet

OK FYI I have 5Zigens on there they are 17 X 7 +35 with 215 45 17s and they clear the coilovers fine. I think i could get away with some 225 50's actuially.

wow, after searching for a day, RobDET finally had my answer. So the 5Zigen 17x7 wheel with a +35mm offset does clear the Tein HE coilovers with 215/45 17's. Did you ever try putting on 225/50's? and did they rub?

215's fit fine. 225's would be close. I'm definately going to try those next but it'll be several months before I kill my 215's

215/45/ZR 17 is exactially what i have now. I can fit one finger between the coilover and the tire right now so 225's might just clear...
