If you're not track racing, i don't think you'll see much use out of even the HE's.

if its not goint to be a daily driver, then i would go with the HE's, because doing some research the flex are more streetable. the ride won't be as stiff or harsh as the HE's

i have HE's on my girl, we autocross and will try drifting soon. she's also a daily driver, at first the ride was very harsh for my back (especially long distant driving) but i love the way she rides.

hope that helps some....good luck with your decision.

flex is for "agressive street" driving....not racing, stick with the HE...at a minimum.-chet

you could always get a stiffer spring ;)many of the cars at d1 were running the flex with EDFC and i am assuming they had new springs with higher rates.

I am really thinking about getting the HE's. My car is starting to become more of a car to take out for a day at the track or a fun run on the street. I don't want to break my back. My friend said that I could get softer springs for the HE's would I loose the whole point of getting HE's instead of Flex's if I went with softer spring rates?

Hey SR20power...how do you really like the HE's? I mean...my car wont see the track a whole lot but I really dont mind a tight suspension. Does it bottom or suck up the bumps rather well???I was really thinking maybe the FLEX's would be better but they are more $$$

i love my tein HE's....it was rather harsh at first, but after autocrossing,i love them even more. there is almost no body roll on the car.....only have stock sway bars.

you can mess with the damper settings, but if you live in a place with alot of potholes or bad roads, i wouldn't recommend the HE's they are just too stiff....

no i have never bottomed out and you can definately feel every bump.....but i went for the handling (autocross and drifting)

hope this helps.....good luck

HE series are more expensive than the flexes. I'll probably go with the flexes and get multiple springs for different rates.
