I changed my tie rods the other day with tein tie rods. My only problem I had was with taking off and putting on the inner rods. does any one know what size wrench is used to take that off? I mananged to get the inner tie rods on and semi tight with a pair channel locks I also used thread lock on the threads. what i'm wondering is when I find out what size wrench is used on them should I try tightening them some more or should I be ok?

on my 90, there was a locking plate where the straight edges line up with the straight edges on the inner tie rod. I couldnt get them to line up again after i replaced mine. I'm guessing when they line up is when it's tight enough? Make sure you use that locking plate again, though.

I didn't use that locking plate the instructions tein gives you with their rods says to use lock tight. they give you a washer that replaces the locking plate. I guess the washer is supposed to give you a better steering angle. but now that you mention lining up the locking plate I'm pretty sure if they were still there the would line up no problem.
