I need to replace both outer tie rods on my 77 280Z. The jamb nut on the passenger side does not want to come free. First of all I want to make totally sure I am attempting to turn the nut in the proper direction. On the passenger side, the inner (jamb nut) is what I am talking about. I am attempting to turn the nut to the right. Is this correct? my assumption is the driver side should be turned to the left?

Thanks

Look at the treads. You can see the direction you need to turn. Also soak it with PB blaster before attempting.

My assumptions were correct, the passenger side is turned to the right, the driver side you turn to the left. I ended up pulling the entire rack assembly out of the car, I was so far along it didn't make sense to not go the extra mile and replace all the bushings.
