i have a s13 hatchback, my tie rod ends are completely junk.im pretty sure they are megan or some other cheap crap, so its time to get new ones. i was looking at the tein ones because they look more reliable.does anyone know if ill feel much of a difference if i switch from junk megan's to teins?for those of you running teins inners and outters, do you like them?thanks alot guys~!

Tein are fine, but you'll be just as well off getting a new set of Moog rods and ends from the local auto parts store.

They'll have them on the shelf and you won't have to pay shipping!

the tein outer tie rods yes are basically stock because they still use balljoint crap with a boot and arnt adjustable

if you lower your car your going to need to get adjustable ones so you dont end up messing up your tie rods like i did

i have heard that megan isnt that great but nothing verified yet

spl's are good but expensive but are adjustable

id personally go for the projectsilvias

when you lower your car it experiences negative camber, and also lowering it pulls the tie rods upward

on normal height they would be parallel to the ground but lowering bends them upward

i dumped my car so low once i popped my inner tie rod ball joint and ruined it

teins are non adjustable so you will still have your tie rods bending up, adjustable ones use spacers to compensate for lowered cars and make the tie rods parallel to the ground again

Teins aren't going to "mess up." You'll be fine, don't worry about it.

You're simply going to suffer from bump steer and feel them get worn out a lot faster than they should.

I have Tein inner/outer rods right now (and have for nearly two years) but they're getting sold soon. Installing my new steering rack soon and have upgraded inner/outer rods waiting.
