I have just one question before I make my (very large) order. Hopefully this gets some activity because I'd like to order within the next few hours.

I currently have S14 Tein inner/outer tie rods with the spacer installed. I don't and will never drift but I highly enjoy the extra turn radius for daily driving. I'm going to upgrade tie rods and buy them from SPL. I know SPL recommends getting the Tein Z33 for drift and OEM Z32 for grip due to the Tein's wider angle.

I daily drive my car 99% of the time and plan on doing some road racing and autocross here and there. Is it going to hurt me in any way if I go with the Tein "drift" since I'm used to that extra angle, are there any negatives? Am I more prone to spinning out? I'd really like to keep the angle I currently have when I upgrade since it's so convenient for daily driving, but I've never gone racing with my current tie rod setup so don't know what to compare it to.

I guess what I'm asking is why buy OEM Z32 for grip over the Teins? I'd like to make this purchase very quick, hopefully I can get some advice soon.

in all honesty, i dont think theres a real difference. or a real reason for one to be "grip" and one "drift"

the z33 inners are just "drift" because they come with the washer. the "grip" version with the z32 inners just have the OEM keeper washer thing.

the turn angle wouldnt cause you to spin out unless you randomly decide to go full lock on the track. you'll still be able to steer like normal, it just adds angle at full lock.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be more prone to flying into full lock or something, haha. I pretty much have the same thing now but I've never experienced it in a track situation, just having fun.

Anyway, thanks. I'm going to go for extra angle, it's convenient with daily driving at the least.
