This past Sat. night I ran off the road to miss a deer and ran off the road and slid of the side of the embankment the car was turned up on it's side. Finally the wrecker came and tried to pull it out from the front. Didn't work so they got out some wires and hooked it from the back. Not much cosmetically speaking but when they pulled it out the front end was sticking up. Well, both front tires were flopping. You could just take the tires and push them wherever you wanted. i don't know if the front axle is broken or is it just the tie rod and if the tie rod is broken, how much of a pain in the *** is it going to be?Thanks,Jadehttp://www.jadeinva.com

it's not that bad to replace those. You just gotta pop the cotter pin out of the castle nut, and then go to the dust boot, undo the metal winding, to expose the insides that's the fast part. the slow part is marking the inner rod on and the outer tie rod and couting the turns you make on it so you can get your new ones pretty close to the alignment you had before. now that you've got the rod end isolated you can undo the castle nut and pop it out of the arm with a rubber mallet and slide the dust boot off. you'll see an area on the inner most part of the inner tie rod where it meets the steering rack, take an adjustable and undo the inner rod from there.

install is the reverse directions of above. while you've got the tie rods out, might as well get some new ones like teins or something. they're quite bigger than stock ones.

Well waht he said was good advice, but my guess is taht there is a LOT mroe wrong with the car.

The tie rods are teh leist of your worries, cause they are cheap and easy to fix...

Take some pics of everythign with the wheels off and I will tell you as much as I can help you with. There are no front axles :p so you don't have to worry about that part... Just take some pics and post em up.
