tie rod end

I am having severe trouble getting my tie rod end off. First off, I have heard that they are reverse threaded so when your tightening your actually loosening the end. I really don't know how to get it off exactly. Any help would be welcome.

take it to a allignment shop.

or get a big hammer.-chet

I checked the FSM...if you are talking about removing the tie-rod from the ball joint, it says you will need a ball joint remover. If you are trying to remove the tie-rod outer from the tie-rod, it doesn't say how to. It says 'do not disassemble'. Good luck.:-\
