ticking/sucking noise

Hey, my ka24de is making a weird sound at idle. its a cross between a ticking and a faint sucking sound. i had the valve cover off and checked the valve clearances. they are all in spec. the noise is coming from the front of the motor somewhere near the oil cap. the noise goes away once it gets above 1000 Rpm. anybody have any ideas??.

if its more a ticking sound i would say it's probably the timing chain....:ylsuper

yeah..probably...and dont waste your money gettin the timing adjusted either...i did and it mad it worse...i need a new timing hain....sometimes the timing is slow like wen i push th gas it doesnt kick iin ryte away but sometimes it feels really fast...really really fast...like chrpp in 4th fast..its phuked up..but a new timing chain for our car is only bout 40$..m gettin mine in a week
